King’s Way Christian School is a ministry of The King's Way Baptist Church. The church is pastored by Dr. Bill Wininger who has pastored at King’s Way since April of 1995. Dr. Wininger received his doctorate degree from his alma mater, Hyles-Anderson College. He is the author of seven books on the Christian life and speaks in national conferences. Dr. Wininger’s heart’s desire is to help families, teenagers, and children know the Lord and maintain a close, personal relationship with Him. Dr. Ray Conway has been the administrator at KWCS since 1983. He has taught for fifteen years and has been an athletic director and coach for over twenty years. Dr. Ray Conway received his Master’s degree in Religious Education from Covington Theological Seminary. In May 2005, Dr. Conway was awarded his Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from the West Georgia Baptist College. His primary focus is to help students reach their full potential in Christ. KWCS was started in the fall of 1973. KWCS is the oldest Christian school in Douglas County. We are located off of King’s Highway in Douglasville on a beautiful forty acre campus. Our campus contains an auditorium, multiple classroom buildings, a gymnasium with classroom space, a well-equipped playground, a football field, and a baseball field. KWCS offers a fully traditional program (3K-12th). Our goal at KWCS is to provide the best balanced, quality Christian education possible to each student. KWCS seeks to train leaders who will impact society positively in succeeding generations. We strive to grow students spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially. Our goal is to produce a balanced individual who is prepared to take the next step in his or her life. KWCS is a member of the Georgia Association of Christian Schools (GACS). KWCS is also a member of the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS). KWCS is fully accredited by the Georgia Private School Accreditation Council (GAPSAC). Graduates of KWCS may qualify to receive the HOPE scholarship. Our office is open 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. year round. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the school office.
